About Friends of the Healing Forest
Friends of the Healing Forest is the charitable arm of Well Earth Collaborative. Our purpose is:
- To advance education related to health and wellness by providing workshops, seminars and resources relating to environmentally-linked chronic complex conditions.
- To advance education by conducting research of the scholarly literature relating to environmentally-linked chronic complex conditions.
- To provide intake and referral to health resources and health care practitioners via the Well Earth Collaborative, our reciprocal organization.
- To promote health by providing those suffering from environmentally-linked chronic complex conditions with the tools necessary for treatment and resources necessary to alleviate these conditions.
- To alleviate the impact of poverty by providing information and access to financial and social assistance.
- To relieve conditions associated with disability related to environmentally-linked chronic complex conditions by providing specially adapted residential accommodation, incidental facilities, and support to eligible beneficiaries.

Our Mission
Friends of the Healing Forest is a charity that endeavours to support people suffering from chronic complex conditions and environmentally-linked illnesses that have led to socio-economic and social stigmatization; and practitioners, programs and projects that support these people.
Our Mandates
Friends of the Healing Forest provides a platform for individuals and communities to run educational, engagement and illness-management programs focused on environmental and ecosystem health spanning the arts and humanities to help those with chronic complex medical conditions.

Your donation helps improve education for children and communities in environmental health, developing healthy communities, and building healing centres across Ontario. A charitable tax receipt will be sent via email within 24hrs after the donation has been completed.
